damn, holden was some shyt tho. his show with mike wise was like pouring sand in your ears until you had to shyt it out

danny is ok, he tries too hard to be funny but he can hold a show.

smoot should get the chad/lavarr spot and have a regular, if not daily appearance on the morning drive (if he already does, i dunno, because i really only listen to an hour of it while i'm driving to work). chad and lavarr are not the WORST, but when lavarr just repeats himself for 6 mins straight, i turn it immediately. chad is alright, i actually agree with him a lot on the redskins, but he's not funny and his non-sports opinions are just americana microwaved garbage

not sure about kevin and rock, i never really listen after 5 or on weekends

I used to like Wise, but something happened on that show in the 2nd year where it got bad. It was before Holden arrived too. Holden is awful. Smoot with anyone is quality radio. I cant tolerate Chad and Lavarr. A lot of Redskins fans dont like them because they believe they are anti, but for me they just suck. Lavarr saying words he should never say because he has no idea how to pronounce it or what it means and then Chad offering nothing because he doesnt really know anything outside of the Redskins and MMA. The MMA shyt is funny because he is a fat slob. I saw him at a Wizards game a few years ago in one of those Affliction shirts and was disgusted. Breh is the stereotypical MMA fan.

wise has a terrible voice, and he really wants to be a long-form SI writer. he's really grating after a while.

holden could play a good straight man. shyt, put him with smoot. seriously why doesn't fred have a show? dude is a homer and has crazy energy, plus that south carolina accent just makes everything more entertaining. ditto about lavarr. i think when he goes on those rants chad is just looking at porn or something. the way they suck off sean salisbury

Dukes is just horrible, just a fat geek, who finally has a bit of power. Dude can't stand when the callers disagree with him, and he usually bullies or hangs up on the person in that situation

dont mean to interfere on this dc convo but, i dont know why people call in to these radio shows when they are tightly controlled or will get hung up on if they disagree

the internet means that i disrespect 90% of people and their opinions, because they are just that special person who happened to get in the position to have their shytty opinion heard more than most people. thats what the media is, basically.

so i dont get why people call in to these type of shows, what with twitter, facebook, forums out there, they can talk to like minded people in forums and actually get conversation or mileage out of it, not a 10 second soundbite and a quick hangup.

the only two times i've called in the last years have been to the best soccer show, but only during 'big developments' (like their bradley show last sunday) as they are usually just gauging public opinion and riffing off what people call about rather than actually arguing with people or having any type of agendas like i see most of these sports talk people do.
