The hell is Eric Bailly doing there too
Bailly was at Villarreal before he came to United.
Yall living in fantasy world. First off its not that competitive with all the goofy comps they play. Most teams dont have money, its sponsors most likely covering the cost. Shiit changes all the time in south American football, coaches get fired quickly, teams
chang every half of
a season
What?!? C’mon breh. 5 different League winners in the past 10 years. How many leagues in Europe can say that.
With Copa Lib, in the last 20 years, Brazilian clubs have won 12 out of 20 and have had 8 different clubs win in that period of time. Brazilian clubs have won 6 of the last 7 Copa Lib and have won 5 straight.
Even in this year’s Libertadores, 5/8 teams in the QFs are from Brazil.
The only thing I’d say is different about Brazil is the state league system. But outside of that, their football is not too different from Europe. Main league, Continental cup (Libertadores or SudaAmerica) and Copa do Brasil (the Brazilian FA Cup).
Brazilian league is easily the richest in South America and it’s only getting richer.
EDIT: The reason Brazil even has a state league is due to geography. Before the advent of modern travel, traversing Brazil was difficult so leagues were more localized. I think the state leagues actually started before a National league.
