Nigeria only played their last AFCONQ match this Int’l window and it was a dead rubber match anyway as we’ve qualified for AFCON. Would have preferred we:
1) called up some new blood to test out new formations/tactics (and actually give them significant minutes)
2) organize a friendly with another top African team in preparation for AFCON.
Tomorrow you have these African friendlies
Egypt vs Tunisia
SA vs DRC
Senegal vs Algeria
Morocco vs B. Faso
CIV vs Mali
NFF dropped the ball in not getting us another friendly. Int’l football has limited windows in the year so you have to be on top of it.
