He performed to an exceptional level at a world cup, then couldnt be arsed to turn up at the next one. Meanwhile messi is toiling like an umpa-lumpa at the chocolate factory. Copas, world cups...dudes trying hard and nothing :dead:

I dont need him to win a world cup, but I need him to stand out at one, well into the latter stages.

And yes messi has eclipsed ronaldinho career wise but between 04 and 06 ronaldinho could do things. Inconcievable thing beyond messis grasp (and not just reaching the top shelf). He was also a much better playmaker/passer.
