i heard a good explanation as to possibly why pep wanted fred. in a pep's team he would have been running, tackling and short passing only. we are asking him to dribble, long pass, create etc which he cannot do ..

To keep it real those type of players are dime a dozen. Anyone who grew up playing football knows or played with those type of players. I can go to Goals (5 & 6 a side pitches in England/London) and I can see amateur ballers do that.
Go checkout Jeremy Lynch world renown freestyler The F2/F2Freestylers. Who claims he was at Arsenal when he was 15 and Wenger said he was the best on the ball player at the whole club and this is including players in the Invincible Team. Has never played professionally at all. Highest level he got was semi pro non league at the age of 28/29.

They are in England but not here. Organized soccer here is almost too structured.
True. Had two players from my area turn pro, they were nowhere near the best street players. We had guys who could make your head spin on the ball but the mentality and complete game was not there.
