I wouldn't say it's the goat (definitely belongs in that conversation though). However I will say one thing it has over The Wire, Boardwalk Empire etc. is that it is so comedic. Other shows in the crime drama genre are a lot more serious. They don't lend themselves to meming like this as easily as The Sopranos does
