What's to say Tuchel would of used Tomori. He clearly favoured Rudiger and a fit Thiago Silva + Dave and James. And liked Christensen before he got injured himself. Tomori's career has stagnated enough for the 12 months prior to going on loan to Milan. CHO is another one who needs to leave Chelsea.
Who knows what Tuchel would have made of him...the shame is he was never given the chance to be assessed and taught by a proper coach. He is a super athletic and aggressive defender, qualities I'm sure Tuchel would have appreciated.
CHO does need to leave asap to get his career back on track. He can't be another RLC.
Both are quick to fight too. Fake tough guys.

Tuchel isn't dropping Rudiger and that is the only slot available if you continue on with the 3 at the back. Young CB's need to be playing week in week out Tomori is never getting that at Chelsea. He makes a mistake or 2 he's getting dropped at Chelsea no extended run to find his form like he would elsewhere. He's only had 2 full seasons as a starter which have been in the Championship. Everything else is half season at Brighton Chelsea and Milan.

Also lazy. They rarely want to test themselves outside of their comfort zone and when they do it's too hard and go back to home quickly. I can see why the Turkish FA targeted the German/Turks.

Am I just being a hater or is Trippier very overrated?
I would have said yes during his Tottenham days, but he grew a lot playing under Cholo. He cut down on the mistakes and became a really good defensive Right Back. There was a clear difference in how Atleti played when he was in the lineup and when he was missing.

He's not overrated per se just not worth 43m.

The one thing Ive always appreciated about the coaches in International competitions is their willingness to make subs early and take off the big name players when they aren't performing outside of tactical defensive subs and the time wasting towards the end of the game ones.
