Not surprised City look so good against Liverpool, they clearly want to send a message that next season they’ll be back.
Losing Kompany (which I said in the summer would cost them most), not replacing him and playing Fernandinho out of position just to play the inferior Rodri & Losing Sane to injury cost them the league. Plus, it’s hard to be motivated when you’ve won 198 points in two seasons and done the first domestic treble ever, clearly the CL was the number 1 goal.
They’re losing Silva but Foden looks like a worthy replacement, I don’t think they’ll need to sign another midfielder but they defo need another direct winger (would say Sancho but Pep ruled out him coming back). I don’t even think missing out on the CL will cost them attracting big players. Get a CB like Koulibaly and a LB and they’re set.
