Yeah this is a running theme ovr the last couple of years, every time a Roma player does their ACL, it gets highlighted. Didn't know about it, till Karsdorp did his back in 2017.
Strootman accounts for 3 of those.
I think it's a case of players not being protected and being run into the ground tbh. Lack of recovery between matches and where one seasons end and another starts. Especially with all the summer tournaments, where a lot of the good/best players get at best 2-3 weeks rest, before getting back to the grind again.

And you the same type that complains about how games and tournaments aren't the same because certain players are missing with injuries.
I bet you wasn't Real Ronaldo gets paid millions to be injuries when he kneecap exploded. Which happened because he was overplayed between 96-98.
What do you guys think? Do you think these current crop of teams would easily dominate the late 90's to mid 2000's teams?
