Unpopular opinion but Mpabbe will need to adapt other aspects of his game to really reach his full potential. Right now, for the most, part he's a one trick pony. A few step overs and then full on acceleration. As he ages he'll need to elevate and diversify his game. Hopefully he doesn't get a muscle strain in his leg. A lot explosive players tear their ACLs from all the quick lateral movements. Word to NFL running backs.

Even Neymar has started to take on a more play making role outside of his previous dribble, dribble, pass/shoot.

Messi now looks like a shadow of his former self that would dribble the entire team and then take a shot on goal.

I'm really excited to see how Mpabbe progresses. I would love to see dude in the EPL.

Tite’s obsession with calling up former Corinthians players is starting to piss me off. As if his blind loyalty to Renato Augusto wasn’t bad enough, now he has Pablo as a starter. I have nothing against Pablo, he’s a fine CB.

But there are much more deserving players.

next year's Gold Cup finna be interesting with Bailey now (assuming the rest of the Jamaican players don't get worse) and assuming the young US players are integrated into USMNT. US, Messico, and Jamaica would be legit competing for the Gold Cup title.

Mexico will win the Gold Cup. USMNT will continue to be :trash: especially if they hire another coach from the MLS. I'm still looking forward to the tournament because I haven't really seen the other CONCACAF teams (Canada, Jamaica, etc.) play much.

Marcelo was on the initial roster, but he was scratched due to injury.

Tite has rotated who he calls up for the friendlies, so some players can rest while others are getting opportunities. This is Willian’s first time not being called up in five years, so him not being there isn’t that big of a deal.
