Costa has pulled out the last few times he's been called up because of injuries, so I think Tite has lost confidence in him. But he's definitely a better option than Taison.

Sandro is deserving, but Marcelo & Filipe Luis are going to have a stranglehold on the Left Back spot until they either start declining or miss time due to injuries.

So I guess Douglas Costa will have to stay healthy and have an incredible season with June to even get a look for 2018. Sandro can play in multiple positions tho. He can play as a winger. He could come in as a super sub. I just hope everyone stays healthy and in form for the World Cup.
