Dude, STFU about Suarez. Always whining about him. He wouldn't be playing now anyway, and won't be for another month at least. Chances are we'd be even worse off now if we hadn't sold him.
There are a lot of problems, but nothing that can't be fixed. There's virtually no communication amongst the backline right now. Lovren's really the only signing so far that's been an out and out bust. His positioning is so shyt.
Gerrard can't play 3 games in 7 days, and that's mitigated by the fact that he's the worst player on the field right now. We're back to January's dilemma of whether Rodgera has the stones to bench him. Gerrard getting injured last time saved him from having to make a decision.
Can's hurt, Allen's hurt, Hendo clearly hasn't been healthy since the break, Coutinho has been woeful, and Lucas is done thanks to past injuries. Midfield is real short on personnel right now. It's time to start throwing Lallana in the midfield more. He'll be a lot more useful there.
I like what I've seen from Balotelli and the fullbacks. For guys that are 20 and 22 years old respectively, Manquillo and Moreno have been bright spots on this team. Balotelli's been working hard as fukk, but the passing in the final third has been so poor. Mainly because without Sturridge you're dealing with a bunch of guys who haven't played together much, and Big Sam applying a lot of ball pressure exposed that a great deal.
I'm worried, but not distraught. Rodgers has earned more than a fair share of slack after finishing 2nd last season. Our midfield needs to get healthy and our attack needs time to gel.
