A black dude confronted these two chicks over it. He was telling them to chill out and go protest somewhere else, imma eat this chicken. Then this black couple was on the news saying, "We support Chik-fil-a, and we are buying food to support them and their views."
I have 2 by me, so I'm bout to see if shyt pops off
I couldn't believe the news was on this.
My take, Imma get my chicken sandwich and walk out with a smile (I support gay marriage because I don't care about gays getting married but I love my Chik-Fil-A)

It's funny to me because all this outrage is soooo forced. Don't care about gay marriage but getting pissed off someone disagrees.

It's not really a stupid controversy though. Well, superficially, it is. Insert any American fat joke, Americans fighting over chicken sandwich, chicken sandwich morals etc. but I think people are off the mark a bit in why it's a controversy.
One, people are wrong to frame it as a betrayal of the first amendment because people aren't really upset about Dan Cathy and his garbage beliefs. He can say whatever he wants (which I don't really agree with. To be perfectly honest his opinion is much different from the average schmoe on the street corner. He holds influence and power and his words can be seen as hateful to a great number of people. fukk his opinion tbh) and that is totally fine, the main problem is that CFA is giving wodges of money to heinous anti-gay groups who paint homosexuals as sub-human deviants who should be thrust to the margins of society where they will learn to fend for themselves in a terrifying gay dystopia bereft of running water and freedom whereupon they will all be tried in front of a court like in The Dark Knight Rises with death by exile. There's a problem with that!
Now, to say that it is a non-issue is wrong in my opinion. Those who think that the main problem here is Dan Cathy's statements regarding gay people and people disagreeing with him to the point of protest are right to extent. No one should step on anyone's rights and we should all have parity and be free and liberty and it's not in anyone's power to repel rights for any group of people. However you can't make that argument then not find opprobrium in a company who funnels money to groups who do the exact same thing?!!?! Even to a more terrifying and dehumanizing degree.
But a silver lining in all this is that those who are shoving deep fried chicken down their gullets are closer to death? I'm going to hazard a guess and say that the majority of those who flocked to CFA in support are older, perhaps obese. Fried chicken and fries at that age can't be good, not even grilled. They'll be off to the grave soon whereupon I for one will welcome our gay overlords
(joking but surely this issue is clearly divided by age. And I don't count those little ones who have no choice but to be seen with their garbage parents at a CFA in these times).
But yeah, I can't really roll with CFA, off to Popeye's for me then.
