No talking about the content but the form and I have a real problem with the US "interracial" word. Why not saying "mixed" instead which feel less derogatory (IMO) ? Maybe it is my culture talking but "interracial" really feel (to me obviously) like it's some kind of unnatural mix, like two different breeds coming together on some paradoxical stuff. This word feels awful from my POV :lolbron:

Nah I don't really think so. I've never heard of a backlash that stemmed from people being offended of someone being called "interracial" or describing a couple as interracial. Interracial is also an actual term that was used in a SCOTUS case Loving v. Virginia that prohibited laws that were written to interracial marriage, so if anything I suppose I've always viewed interracial as the more uhhh "proper" way of saying someone was mixed, or at least the driest...if that makes any sense. I guess when you use the word "race" in a particular way people start getting confused and all bent out of shape but sometimes that's just how shyt is.

Though (and now that I'm thinking of it more, because no one has ever asked that nor has it ever been brought up in any conversation I've had) I've found myself using interracial when you're describing a couple or relationship between two different races. When you're talking about an individual I think I'd most likely say mixed...even though I didn't in that previous post...but in real life yeah

Atletico are much better on the ball than Chelsea, it's not even close. They have superior technical ability all over the park.

We're pretty one-dimensional compared to them and in general tbh. We'll see what happens in the summer though:ehh:
thought it was how Jose liked them?

Onto Libertadores then brehs. We'll play in Paraguay against Cerro Porteño tonight in the second leg after drawing 1-1 in the first.

Remember that cumguzzler of a slore Larissa Riquelme? Well she supports Cerro and will be cheering them on live from the stadium

I honestly have my doubts on who to cheer for tonight

Saw something about Paulinho to your lot. Matic is the piece man. I'm surprised this team went this far, even with Mourinho I didn't this squad was capable of this.

@Liu Kang hit us with your greatness. I don't speak French but does he say Chelsea only play counter?

Started watching House of Cards, I don't think I'm a fan.

All the women just whore around to get what they want, Frank is a mastermind that destroys everyone except the women that plan to destroy him, everything resembles a House episode in how neatly things get tied together... shades of the utter garbage Entourage turned into with Ari during those final seasons.

May be objecting to this series on moral grounds, it all seems so "meh" to me to be honest. Can't get past it.

Spacey with a great job, but that's about the highest praise I can give the whole series. Haven't finished season 1 though, and I see this review:

"I found the first two episodes handsome but sleazy, like a C.E.O. in a hotel bar. Yet by Episode 5 I was hypnotized by the show’s ensemble of two-faced sociopaths. Episode 8 was a thoughtful side trip into sympathy for Spacey’s devilish main character, but by then I was exhausted, and only my compulsive streak kept me going until the finale--at which point I was critically destabilized and looking forward to Season 2."

same thing may happen to me.

And I see a lot of the metacritic reviews were of the first two eps, but I think either I'm tiring of the shenanigans, or season 1 just started out strong and tailed off.
