because the inquiry is still going on and only last year did the police finally admit that it was their fault

for over 20 years the fans were blamed
I honestly don't know too much about it. I was genuinely ignorant as to why it was such a huge tragedy. Obviously 96 people lost their lives but it's nowhere near England's worst tragedies.

in terms of football it was
I wonder what Americans' worst sporting tragedy is.

Edit: off the top, Marshall tragedy and Boston marathon bombing comes to mind as well as 96 Olympics. Then you have drunken fans seemingly falling off high stadium perches every couple of weeks.

Boring, boring Arsenal. Per Mertesacker looking like Xavi in this team playing center back.

It's weird too, the Boston bombing was just year ago more or less and I haven't heard much about it in months. From a sporting perspective we are relatively lucky with tragedies. Most of ours are screwjobs held onto by fans of the screwed over team for far too long.

like the 2006 NBA finals :pacspit: STDwade and everybody that loves him

Was the 06 final really that blatant?

On a scale of 1 to Ovrebo how bad was it?

Not really much else to talk about in regards to the Boston bombing. They caught the dude and he's in legal proceedings, other suspect died.

They'll have a tribute every year the marathon rolls around and that's about it :manny:

It was like watching two different games when Dallas had possession and when Miami did. Miami played Dirk very physically, lots of getting up in his chest and hand checking, and most of it went uncalled. On the other end, if Wade was affected in any way at all he went to the line for 2. By game 5 of the series Dallas played scared defensively because any call that would go Wade's way most assuredly would.

I'd say Chelski got screwed over worse if only because Dallas wasn't the better team across 6 games, while Chelsea should have won both legs. 2006 Finals would have went 7 if the series was called fairly. Both teams got revenge of sorts in the end.

Oh, and from a neutral point of view Wade was one of the more entertaining players in the league. But the same way people complain about Harden now is how I ended up viewing him after that Finals run. Neg if you must.
