Was this how it felt watching a young Messi or Ronaldo cause I fukking love watching this kid…

Honestly yeah, my co-worker was listening to a pod this morning and the host was saying they haven't seen someone take over the Bernabeu like this since CR7.

To be fair, watching young Messi was once in a generation. I don't think we'll EVER see someone play like that, score like that and pass like that all in one person. To the point where EVERY TOUCH was electric like you KNEW something was about to happen.

But if you're just now getting into the the sport for sure. It's rare to see someone so young be so dominant. Even CR7 wasn't THIS impactful at the same age.

Clint felt some type of way when Carra said you going back to the bench. :russ:

I love that show. It's like a group of drunk homies watching matches and clowning eachother. They even tossed in the Kate/Micha beef and Kate/Titi sexual tension for the luls.

I wouldn't be shocked if Thierry already popped her.

Yea. I’m still learning all the nuances of the sport, but just as a sports fan, I know star power when I see it and he’s a bonafide superstar in a way I don’t see watching other teams. Like he looks like he doesn’t even belong out there and he’s on one of the world. It’s amazing.

He has the benefit of playing alongside some of the greatest players of the generation before him like David Alaba, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Not to mention arguable the most prolific Champions League manager ever in Ancelotti.

He was great at Dortmund, but with vets around him, a manager that built his career on dealing with big names and superstar personalities and having the advantage of somewhat tempered expectations for Madrid...he's been a revelation.

Jude is the truth. Flat out. He's also showing his versatility now as well. In his "natural" position he's generally supposed to control matches, pass and transition the ball while maintaining possession, perhaps sometimes make a late run or drift in to the box to score. But because of Madrid's needs, he's played in a more attacking role. It's to the point now where we don't even know what his "natural" position is anymore.

Would you go get a traditional striker in that case or just continue building around him as a sorta false 9.

The question is do they get Mbrappe and what happens to Vini if they do. Once that's figured out then you work out the rest.

Mbrappe Vini Jr Rodrygo and Bellingham all prefer the left hand side. At least with Bellingham he'll be more willing to play from the right. But then that causes a total different issue because of Valverde is the right hand side. And that's not even getting into the defensive side of things as both Mbrappe and Vini aren't the most willing to track back. If Real sign Mbrappe he doesn't want to play as the single 9. He wants target man/someone to play off. Rodrygo wants to do the same thing.

And that not even including Endrick.

You'd have to deal Rodrygo away at that point and try to convince Vini to play centrally. It's working for Madrid right now because they don't have a true striker since Benzema left.

And if Mbappe comes he'll want to play on the left, and Vini ain't moving nor has he indicated that he'd be open to playing centrally. I think if Jude was there with Benzema we wouldn't see this aspect of his game emerge. It's literally the perfect situation for him.

Just got home and turned on the TV and Salah was celebrating the third goal.
