That’s why the English clubs are the biggest c*nts here tbf. Those other clubs may have been sitting, green eyed looking at the PL and wanting their slice but fact is they’re actually fukked financially, you can almost understand it.Real Madrid and Barcelona are so desperate to pimp themselves out. Honestly, this whole thing was really just a bail-out for those two clubs after 10+ years of reckless spending.
There is certainly no turning back for Real Madrid, 900 million debt, a brand spanking new mega stadium to pay for and no money to get marque signing like Haaland or Mbappe. Won't be suprised if they try to sue the English clubs for breach of contract and lost earnings
English clubs could survive the pandemic no problem, just absolute pure greed from them.
