I don’t wanna have to neg a fellow red

Henderson has been great,(this season) but playing a player after an injury(in a big game at that ) is never a good idea, just ask spurs and ironically Atletico Madrid about that.:lolbron:

Glad we got a goal though :manny::blessed:

Its the level of comfort, especially if you are the dominant defender use to playing on a particular side. The positioning angles they are use to taking, some defenders preferred to show the attackers on to their weaker foot. Also when one defender is designated to attack the ball and the other one drops back as the cover, makes a difference if you have to do a different role on a foreign side of the pitch.

John Terry was more comfortable playing the left side even tho he was right footed and when he had to play right, he would find himself out of position.

There are so many different intricacies and nuances than him just being right footed he'll be alright.

No doubt. I think Koulibaly is more versatile than Mcguire in that regard.. Even tho he favours LCB... Apparently he slots in RCB comfortably and even used to play right back for Genk
