You aren't even factoring his football development, the hamstring/muscular injuries Messi use to suffer from in his teen years in his first couple of years as a professional. Or the broken foot. From 05/06-07/08 he missed about 60 games. And still scored 41 goals from 101 games in that period all the while only just turning 21 at the end of the 07/08 season.
