Ive seen several teams do it now but ive yet to see the real advantages of it

I've seen several teams play out from the back. Arsenal is the first team I've seen play out from the back in a compact shape

My gut is telling me that we’re not gonna win. Our formation makes no sense and we’re playing terribly right now.

If I've learned anything from this match:

Pepe and Ozil cannot play in the same team.

You can't have 2 players who don't cover enough defensive ground.

In the early matches I thought Pepe was slow because he wasn't up to speed, but it isn't that. He tracks back only when he wants to.

And the fact they're both (Pepe & Ozil) kinda occupying the right hand side has left Maitland-Niles exposed.

And Maitland-Niles is not a full back, and he keeps making and taking touches you can't make in that position.

And Sokratis + Luis are not good under pressure when MN loses the ball.

It's a fukking domino effect of errors.
