I guess but no player is a one man army, this isnt tennis. You need a system that suits your strengts in order to excel

You don't "need" a system to suit your strengths to be effective, many players still show up playing out of position or playing in systems not completely catering to their styles.

That's what separates good and great players though.

Not every manager is going to cater to every players needs there are 11 men out there, chances are someone has to get in where they fit in and make it work for them.

We really need to see more of Onyedika. He has better ball playing abilities than Ndidi. Would also free Iwobi to push up higher in the MF.

This was my biggest takeaway we looked coached and he managed the game well especially when it started to get back and forth. Was watching the post match and he mentioned they’d only had 2 training sessions but lots of video sessions and information given to the players.

I meant that in the context of us winning out and SA still winning the group which they could in theory if they win their 4 other games and only lose to us. I think/hope that 21points would be enough to get one of those places but like I said I don’t want any parts of it, that’s 3 single elimination games to make it I agree we NEED to win the group.
