@TheNig is just trolling at this point. I can understand folks getting blinded by the perception of the bruiser/brawling style. I can understand giving kudos to him for using that style to fluster May a bit, and making it entertaining... but to just deny the numbers, even for a casual, is foolish.
deny numbers?....the difference in total punches is NINE.....NINE. and maidana actually outlanded floyd in power. floyd fans trying to focus on %, but the volume puncher will always land at a much lower percentage...especially when you throw 400 more than your opponent. it's just common sense. why is it so hard for floyd stans to just admit he was in a close fight. are you emotionally attached to this guy. he won it 7-5 to me, but this was clearly his toughest fight since castillo. and that's not even a debate.

Do you watch boxing or did u start with Mayweather?
  • Clean punching: “Clean” punches are punches that land on the face/side of the head and the front/side of the torso.
  • Effective aggressiveness: A boxer demonstrates this trait when he consistently and successfully moves forward in a controlled manner.
  • Ring generalship: The judges favor the fighter who controls the pace and style of the bout.
  • Defense: Boxers that skillfully incorporate defensive maneuvers receive credit in this area.

You know nothing about reading. It states Effective aggressiveness not, aggressiveness alone :umad:
It was effective aggression. People are acting like Floyd was countering Marcos against the ropes all day but in reality he snuck in a single shot here and there but Maidana won the fight in that area. Mayweather's best work was in the center of the ring on the lead.

dude had his head down swinging away like a damn fool. not even lookin where he was throwin. he was outclassed. thats why he started flailing around and trynna wrestle instead of box.
Naw give him more credit then that...those looping overhand rights ark hard to see and time also that chopping right over the top, which is hard to stop in the mW stance

Did you guys actually watch the fight. The second half was all Floyd. He was boxing in the middle more, accurate, backing Maidana up, Maidana's work rate went down significantly.

And dude was 165lbs.
