And how do you feel about the alleged almost TKO strike floyd recieved at the closing of that one round. Friends say, but if that had happened with 1 minute remaining.

should would've could;ve

thats all the say

shot came after the bell, Floyd new the round was ending and got too lax

it wouldn't happen any other time to in a round, which is why it didn't

Don't nobody on this board critiize ray leonard for shyt, you gloss over all that shyt

What is there to criticize him for?:dwillhuh:

All he did was go 5-2-1 against HOFers like Wilfred Benitez, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Terry Norris.

nobody holds it against him that he hit and hold in hagler, but go in on Floyd about it l ike it's some kind of legacy killer, when he really didnt even hold that much, only at the beginning on the fight

Who's going in on Floyd breh?:dwillhuh:

Nobody is talking bout that forreal...it's a strategy Floyd imployed to save himself from Maidana unleashing bombs on him while his back was against the ropes. It's not on Floyd, it's Kenny Bayless who let Floyd get away with it without even 1 warning. You cant deny the excessive holding, but it is what it is, a smart/veteran move by the smartest fighter (him and B-Hop) of this era.

I dont see anyone going thread to thread or constantly talking about it though:manny:

That's a Maidana stan breh:mjlol:

Of course he's gonna say that after his dude just got beat 118-109:heh:

Bayless WAS on some trash, but like I said...it aint Floyd's fault, it's Bayless' for not even warning him for the excessive holding. People like Floyd/B-Hop fight just as dirty as their opponents, but they know how "play the game". The holding was essential for Floyd, because it stopped Maidana for blasting away while he was trapped on the ropes, and also eliminated any inside fighting...which caused Maidana to basically have to chase and fight Floyd from the outside. Perfect gameplan for Floyd to pick up a much easier W, because Maidana cant fukk with Floyd in the center of the ring or while he's on the move. We all know that.

I dont blame Floyd for doing what he has to do in order to win. I blame the ref for not saying nothing and Maidana's corner (Robert Garcia) for not saying anything to the ref. Floyd did what he had to/allowed to do.

Easier night at the office for him.

Behind You
I'm talking about people on here man, use your brain

same thing they have a double standard when it comes to floyd and give other people passes
Is there a post around here somewhere that is full of posts sucking Sugar Ray's dikk for winning that fight?
If so point it out otherwise just admit you don't know what the fukk you are talking about.

Another Gold Medal
Floyd stan tactic 101

Having a tough time with your struggle argument? Slander a greater fighter.

They did it with Ali, they did it with Robinson and now SRL is the target. :mjlol:

If floyd is the GOAT/TBE blah blah you don't have to slander other nikkas to prove it. Especially nikkas that have ATG on their resumes while Pretty boy still doesn't even have the 2nd best in his division.

Did I say that?

The bring yp hagler whenever they speak on ray's legacy and how its better than floyds

I said nobody holds that against leonard's legacy, Floyd does something similar, its a crime if you stop being such biased fakkit, emotional p*ssy, and think objectively you will understand what I was saying

but you just want to disagree for the sake of argument, like female during a lovers quarrel its quite disturbing

stop putting words in my life and reply to make direct words

Now they're reporting 925K??

SOURCE: MAYWEATHER-MAIDANA 2 PROJECTS 925,000 BUYS

We are a numbers obsessed society, I’m afraid. That is not to our credit, because so often, when we are talking numbers, obsessing over numbers, we are not trafficking in the realm of beings.

I tend to give shorter shrift to salaries, and pay-per-view numbers, and such, than some guys, because that’s not why I do this. I do this because I enjoy the art and science and self-instructive practice of studying the wonderful and horrific practices of the human animal. What a zoo we live in…

That said, one can’t ignore numbers, because behind those numbers are stories, and reasons and guides toward the future, as well as hints to help decipher the past.
So it is, I think, with the whisper number I’m hearing for the latest Floyd Mayweather fight, which took place on Saturday.
Showtime produced the event, the fourth installment in a six fight deal signed by them and Mayweather back in 2012. Mayweather-Maidana 2, dubbed Mayhem, drew approximately 925,000 buys, a birdy told me on Thursday late afternoon. They did 900,000 for the first scrap.
Have at it, numbers guys and gals.
Most of us who follow the sport as a methadone addict follows their dose, reflexively, with an oft muted joy, know that the PPV buying trend is down, in boxing and MMA. Wallet fatigue, lack of truly compelling matchups, a coalescence of consumer sentiment, exacerbated by the presence of “the new union,” the internet, which allows like minded folks to band together, and have their collective voices heard at a higher decibel level than previously they’d been afforded? That’s up for debate…
