Why they take so long now to raise the offside flag when they know these guys are offside?

I think there is somehow a rule that refs let the play continue and always overrule (or not) with VAR. Give the attackers the chance to finish just in case.

At first it annoyed me but I think that's kinda the right thing to do somehow
