Can't remember the last time I thought a group was wrapped up, and the 2nd game not even over. Have hard time seeing Germany getting anything more than a point vs Spain given how their back line looked earlier, and Japan seem like they will also score plenty against Costa Rica.

This is why the World Cup should only be a 32 team competition.

Word. We need to die on this hill and take FIFA with us if they insist on expanding.

The worst teams will be out after 2 matches, so you may barely notice they were even there. 32 teams are guaranteed at least 3 games.
