Martinez is a great Shot Stopper not just penalties, game defining last minute saves against Australia and France.

Those Manchester United shouts might not be that unrealistic just remembered they are being sold:jbhmm:The top 4 premier league teams have to at least try. I think he would fit with Liverpool but they might be at the end of a cycle. Arsenal need to finish the job at least finish top 2 to be in with a shout.

Mbappe has the potential to up there with GOATS but he has to leave Paris!
The more I think about it, the more I don't think he does. PSG is the team where he builds the foundations of his legacy. He gets a CL with them he will go clear.

What do people like you get out of making these statements? does it enhance your life in any tangible way? Let Mbappe's career play out and enjoy the ride
He needs the drive... with all the money he's making he can just say fukk it and take it easy,
Its Funny, with Great talent comes some sort of curse.... Diego with the drugs, Dinho with the drinking and partying, Ronaldo with the injuries and overeating, Cr 7 with being a bytch etc.
Messi didnt rly have any kind of curse... Mbappe has pride, we'll see how that plays out for him

I mean it is home, born and raised practically in a paris suburb. Speaks french, plays for the biggest team in the french league.

Brother, no one takes the French ligue seriously. It might be one of them elistist ivory towers preconceived notions - a hilarious one even seeing as the French league regularly produces some of the best players - but it is what it is. The bias exists.

If he doesn't leave Paris for either England or Spain - that asterisk will always be there. The good thing is that time's on his side, but he needs to move in the next 2 years.

There's no asterik to be put on Mbappe. He is a WC winner, Golden Boot winner and a hat-trick scorer in the biggest game of all. Everyone knows the issue is with PSG. If there is anything to be taken from this season is that Mbappe and Messi can work together. They need to bring that together for their CL run.

What a final. Kylian really stepped up and showed what he's about. MOTM for me.

GOAT debate is over now. There is nothing that other guy will do to top this.

Lawd they're keeping their foot on this mans neck :deadrose:

Ronaldo's ego lowkey destroyed his image and will impact his legacy (minute, but still). I remember Old Trafford was still singing his name 10 years after he had left. He holds all types of records for the club with the most Champions League trophies and even there his relationship with a substantial number of fans is shaky. One thing he always had, was the United fanbase fighting his corner - it was always a disingenuous fight but United fans used to run interference and PR for him. Guy burned that bridge, now even those fans are piling on. I'm seeing people on the internet talking on his name as if he was Inzaghi and not a certified top 5 player ever :pachaha:

This is why it's important to foster good relationships with people and rein your ego in from time to time. It's evident he's lost a few steps even just compared to a year ago - but instead of taking a mentor like - I do it for the people, I do it for the game type approach - he still thinks he should be the main man and trying to call out shots. You don't have the juice like that no more. These last few years of his career he shoulda been playing coach carter with the young ballers so they're singing his praises and posting him on their IGs talkinbout "My Goat" to sway a little bit of public perception

No club - most major clubs apparently/supposedly not interested and all you have is Instagram followers and offers from Saudi Arabia

Gotta know how to bow out gracefully - now Messi's crowned king and you're just the punching bag. Hold dat

:manny:
