Ronaldo when he was in his prime or close to it was carrying Portugal which was FAR less talented than Argentina in this era till recently where both are much better overall today.

No one is on Mbappe's level right now. Saying Messi at Barca was or better is bullshyt. I watched all of those games. I liked CR7 better and I liked R9 way better. He was a product of his environment like Haaland at Man City. Elite player but they made him out of this world good with the level of support he gets.

neither of those players carried those teams. france 18's most important player was probably kante and brazil 70 without Pele probably still win the World Cup

Mbappe getting way too overhyped in here by some of you

For sure he’s had a brilliant 2 world cups now, (he ain’t carried either though) And for PSG he is excellent. But Mbappe last few years hasn’t been on some GOAT shyt.

We really comparing it to Messi and Ronaldo who were putting up 50 goal seasons in a harder league and winning champions leagues?
