I'm in awe. I've been saying it for many years.

In terms of sportsmen, its

1a . Michael Jordan

1a. Leo Messi

and everybody else. 2 of the best ever in 2 of the most popular global sports.
yea Jordan performing against plumbers from Cleveland and Utah is the same :mjlol:

he was better than the GOAT today

this is not a mahomes brady situation

One is in his prime / going into his prime. Messi way past his best. And even then you could argue Messi in his own way impacts games just as much still.

We really putting Mbappe up there with 2012 Messi scoring 90+ goals in a year? Haha

He’s clearly the player of his generation/ age group. But he ain’t GOAT level and no where near yet.

We’re talking Messi Maradona Pele level bro.
The only thing he's missing is experience. He got everything else and he's outproducing all of them at the same age. Haaland is the only player in his generation that's in the same area code.

Yup.

Special player and really good, young team
vs
Special player and excellent, experienced team

Not a soccer expert, but to me it looked very evident.
