they could bring back them messicans too while they are at it.

returning to them street racing roots and battling them asians and jason statham would be straight piff.

i remember vin talking shyt about trans crotch rocket, in the next movie he should literally have rocket launcher attached to his bike

They should make it a running joke with Haan now though, almost as if they're acknowledging that he has to stay alive until the series officially connects to Tokyo Drift.

*Tyrese shoves Haan out of the way, saving him from being run over*

Haan: Thanks man, I would have been dead if not for you :sadcam:
Tyrese: I can't let you die yet bro, I gotta get you home to Tokyo. :jawalrus:
Haan: Why does everyone keep saying that? :mindblown:

Tyrese:  *while briefly pausing to look into the camera*

So I finally get to update this post! Saw this tonight with the GF (reserved seats in UltraAVX). They musta saw us clowning this whole Haan debacle and decided to go with that added ending. :laff: :laff:

Thoughts:

Liked the intro credits and how it kinda refreshed old/new FNF fans that may or may not have watched every movie. Was really unsure how I felt about the film during the first 1hr or so.. the rushed intro race, the quick decision by Brian/Mia to find Letty was all kind of funny to me. Brian didn't even sit back for a sec when Dom showed him the pictures. He's all like "leggo, family" - I mean... the length this dude went, going double agent in Mexico JUST to find out what happened to Letty's memory, dude counda been killed or never returned.. meanwhile Dom is all :yeshrug: at the same time and proceeds to start circuit racing with Letty around town, haha. The heel turn by Riley was done well, explaining why Shaw was always ahead and Riley only fought/shot at Letty.

Tyrese was a little annoying but otherwise the comedic points came through. Didn't care for the initial chase scene with those weak base model Beemers, but glad we got some muscle in the tank scene (RIP to the custom Mustang that got crushed). All that shyt doesn't really matter cause the ending airplane scene (that Tornado Tag match with Rock/Diesel vs Shaw/Big Guy) and the after credits with Statham brought me right the fukk back in. :wow: that shyt was intense. That airstrip is the perfect place for an actual drag race, given it's length and all, LOL.

I'm glad after all the jokes we made that they tied Fast 6 right into Tokyo and finalized Haan's death. Ya'll need to stop talking about him being alive, its done.. and thankfully so cause I don't know how much longer I could suspend my belief. RIP to Gisele, them two shots homie licked were bang on. Ride or Die chick,

The only joke I have now is, at what point in Fast 7 will Dom find the need to go drift race the kid (Sean) in the parking lot? Lol. I'm sure after what he's about to encounter with Statham (Shaw's brother) that SHOULD be the last thing on his mind :dead: Oh, and not to nitpick but I like how they just changed up Haan blowing up. In Tokyo Drift Sean is looking right at Haan before the boom, but now it's Statham that ensured the blow went down. So Sean was just standing there watching Statham on some :ld: as he killed his friend? Haha... just kidding though as I'm glad they made the attempt to wrap up this Haan parody. RIP officially homie.

Fast 7, but no Justin Lin.. erm, not sure but we'll see.

Biggest audience pops/reaction in my theatre:
1. The Doomsday Device
2. When the camera zoomed out and you see Rock/Dom standing side by side bout to team up for the tag match
3. Gisele letting go and offing dude with those Tomb Raider-esque 2-shots on her way to heaven.
4. Dom's spear/save of Letty landing on the car... the audience reaction was more of a "Lol, wtf, come on!" type thing. Still funny though.

tokyo drift was the best one, still is..

Fast Five and Furious Six are way better but Tokyo Drift was always my favorite one of the original trilogy. I think the lack of Walker and Diesel as well as the presence of Bow Wow left a lot of people blind to see how good that movie was. The race scenes were done a lot better than in the first two and more importantly, the crime element was left in the background as they really made it more up and front about the street racing/drifting.

Just got back from this. Movie was piff, glad I convinced my girl to see this over Hangover 3. Only complaint I had was they just brushed over my girl Gisele's death. Only Mia and Brian seem to care. Didn't get a memorial scene or anything and she went out like a G.

RIP Gisele.

Movie was dope that is all that needs to be said. If you want to nitpick about things that's fine. But this was a great summer popcorn flick. It shocks me how they were able to revive the franchise - but the formula they have going is working to a T.

Whoever made the decision to change this series focus from street racing to ocean's 11 with cars is a fukking genius. They can make 10 more of these and shyt won't get old. Clap for him! :obama:

real question: How many of yall would let go of that Brazilian :noah: for Letty? :youngsabo:

Always thought Michelle Rodriguez was fine as hell:noah: and besides Letty was Dom's true love from wayyyy back. Remember "Family" is the important connective theme throughout the franchise so looking at it from Dom's point of view Letty was ride or die for him since she was like 19. You find a woman like that you DON'T let it go

I think you need to watch it again, Han played DK the whole movie, he was shorting him at every turn, the reason Han was going to get kill is because DK father told that Han was ripping him off.

well considering how he was in the last two, youd think he'd be into more bigger and better sh1t, I mean letty leaves the group and shes ripping off military convoys. :jawalrus:

idk maybe in the sequel DK comes back with a vengeance along with johnny tran
