It's a ratings gimmick at this point. He is known universally as the Lebron critic and Tebow fanboy. ESPN and Skip knows that if they ever got Bron or even Westbrook to do that show the ratings would reach Tebowmania levels. At this point I'm not even sure if Skip is intentionally trolling or if ESPN has a hand in his back. Not a doubt in my mind ESPN has some control of what they would like SAS to say or do.
