Stephen A and Shannon so out of their element. Their only argument is marketing and popularity. They bring up Christian Laettner being on Dream Team in 1992 when the USA was blowing teams out by 50. They completely ignore the point the ladies were making about other countries catching up to the USA women and how they had to win a bunch of close games. No time to be playing around just putting a player on the team for popularity reasons.
Another thing I don’t like is how they claim they put stories out that the people wanna hear. The media plays a part in making people care in the first place.

I agree but a few Olympics ago the WBB team was complaining about not getting the same love and attention the Women’s soccer team gets so maybe they should have taken Caitlin
