Why are we acting like this show is known for it's thought provoking football insight?

Skip may have a lot of NFL inside info (from 30 years ago) but all he ever did was dikkride Brady, Favre, Tebow and the Cowboys. You don't exactly have to be Belichek to have a convo on that level. They will bring in football experts like they always have.

Max has actually added to the football talk by using...wait for it.... actual data to support his points.

Yeah but he uses that data to an extreme sometimes.. I remember the other day said that GS would beat All time Great Laker teams based on their 3 point shooting percentages ..

He said something to the effect of GS made 800 and the Lakers took 300 for a season..

He picks stats to fit his argument as if that single stat it the end all be all to the discussion.. (money ball type shyt)

If GS was so good then that would have Swept a Cavs Team missing 2 starters in 2015 and the damm sure wouldn't have lost to a Cavs team in 2016 that didn't make or take nearly as many they did..

I like Max but he's has a tad bit too much nerd in his analysis for me..

It's impossible for the show to be worse in regards to actual insight and valid points. The fact remains you don't need much football knowledge to stay in line with what they have been doing for years.

The show has been extreme in regards to feelings for years. Max introducing analytics actually provides an interesting contrast. The data will never be extreme because you will always have Steven A there with his extra shyt.
