I have yet to see a rapper on the show that provided legitimate insight. I never saw the Snoop or Bun B episodes and those seem to be highly heralded. T.I. has also never impressed me with his sports knowledge either, everything he said is something anyone who regularly watches ESPN would know. The biggest dissapointment was Wale, with as many esoteric Sports metaphors/similes he drops in his music I thought he'd be a great guest
The whole time he was sitting there I was just like![]()
Yeah the majority of them are just casual fans and it shows. Bun b was good but he's a really smart guy anyway. As far as t.i. we all know dude is a hood nikka that likes to use big words like he's fresh out of prison but has no substance behind them, but pete rock is cringeworthy today. Dude is having his hand held like a toddler. You're right about wale, he was a disappointment.

You ain't lying, breh. Dude is articulate for a Southern rapper but you can tell its forced most of the time. As much as I love Will Smith, he does the same thing when he's being interviewed (though he's obviously much smarter than TI). It's like, breh, we know you're a smart guy, you don't have to go out of your way to show it

still on this Michael Irvin > Jerry Rice bullshyt? He said if he had one game, he'd take Michael Irvin over Rice because he's seen Irving come up big in big games too many times.
from the air.
