it really is. Because a lot of these drum kits, people use the same drum sounds. Especially these mainstream 808 kits. first of all, they aren't even real 808 sounds, and every hit on the radio uses the same sound or a variation of it. Grab some vinyl, put on some songs and just listen and find a few hhs, kicks, or snares every day. I guarantee you there are a lot that haven't been used it. Eq them to your liking, layer them and you will have your own sound. Now I have a 2tb drive of drum broker, and lots of other sound kits and they are useful for layering under classic kicks and snares, but I don't use them alone
