It was just concept art that was relqsed and Derrickson had wanted a to lean into the supernatural darker side. He left the film due to clashing with Disney wanting to change the story. Originally Nightmare and Mordo were the main villains with Wanda going to learn more about using her magic with Strange.

but since covid fukked the world and everyone obviously liked the first MCU project out of quarantine they took it completely wrong way and said, "clearly Wanda is the most popular character we've ever had, let's make the movie more about her and her little bytchass kids."

Wanda was the best and most interesting she's ever been in this movie idc. nikkas mad cuz they made her the villain. That shyt was BOLD, and it was awesome.

Why even do it if you feel some type of way? The character was in 3 movies and has two full seasons of a tv show.

The character died and had a funeral. Then had one of the last scenes in End Game.


Multiverse of Madness was thrown together. I get that. But if she didn’t like how the character was written, then don’t do it.

because they sign multi-appearance contracts,

because the script was changed multiple times late in the production.

note: prof X was added later on. that is why the dialog is odd connected to him. lots off screen. seldom on screen with the others. no real on camera interaction with the group. and why his fight is separate.

Yeah even Elizabeth said she stopped taking the script modifications seriously because they were just constantly rewriting stuff. And she didn't like how Wanda was portrayed either because it indicated that they didn't understand her character at all.

And then you have them bringing in John Krasinski and Patrick Stewart only to bush them in 30 seconds which was insane. Because they both deserved far better.

So the film was a disorganized mess.

Most of the "Illumiwhati" felt like fluff, fan service cameos that didn't really amount to anything substantial by the time they were killed off, so I can definitely see where she's coming from. No Way Home dropped five months before this and did a way better job at interweaving their surprise cameos into the story in a meaningful way by the end.

Hayley also isn't the only actor to be frustrated with this movie. The main star, Benedict Cumberbatch, had his issues with the way this flick turned out as well as Elizabeth Olsen...which kinda says a lot, lol.

America Chavez was supposed to be in No Way Home. And to be honest No Way Home is overrated. Both movies suffered, because their timelines were swapped which forced both movies to change.

No Way Home simply had better cameos, and was less complicated. But it had a lot of flaws.

Dr Strange was a completely different movie from the original and honestly, it was just bad timing and the story didn’t make much sense. Neither one of them did actually.
