Yeah definitely not a regular cape show. Legion is a good comparison since they're both kinda all about trauma and dealing with emotional baggage, just from different perspectives.
Doom Patrol fans were crushed when news broke earlier this year that the Max drama’s current fourth season — which resumes on Thursday, Oct. 12 with a pair of new episodes — will be its last.…
You can tell they been in wrap it up mode for at least 1.5 seasons now. Also feels like they're on just no budget. Covid hit em hard and I don't think they ever recovered. It was nice seeing Niles again though.
Well just watched the series finale. Since it's early, will drop my thoughts in spoilers
Well they wasted no time doing away with the threat of Immortus/singing butts. The show was never about them actually being a team and fighting villains, so I didn't mind. The crux of the episode was them saying goodbye to Rita and everyone on the team finding a new path. The funeral scene and them watching one of Rita's old movies was well done. Cliff going to see Rory and seeing a glimpse of his future life before dying was nice as well.
Will say the old age makeup on this show was rough.
