I'm not going to overreact to the Guyton pick. Because I remember we were all pissed about Tyler Smith pick. I gotta believe their scouting on Guyton. I'm sure they wanted Barton badly, but we needed that extra 3rd.

I wonder if Brian Thomas Jr didn't go at 23, if we would've pulled the trigger on him.

It won't matter who is at qb. We not winning anymore SB's with itchy and scratchy at the helm.

Dak has flaws but the only QB that could step into the 2021-2023 Cowboys and win a ring without any other changes is Mahomes.

If you need that level of QB to win ONE SB, either you draft him or you build the rest of the roster, let Dak walk and use the savings to add talent/depth. Cowboys had a 20-year drought before Rayne Dakota even got drafted. Stephen/Jerry look foolish when you compare them to the other DFW squads (Stars better pick it up or they'll fukk around and get swept by Vegas).

Dak has bigger hands.... 10.88 inches vs 10.25 inches.

Maybe Dak should gain 60 lbs and be a LT?

Guyton can only play RT.
You absolutely cannot be a serious franchise and put Steele on Dak’s blindside. I think Tyler has always been viewed as the heir apparent to Tyron LT lockdown. He slides over.

Guyton is your future RT.

That Terrance Steele contract is atrocious.

OU had a left handed QB so Guyton played on his blindside (RT).

I think they drafted him with position flex in mind. RT is his floor but LT could be his ceiling if he can adjust. Smart pick because if you let Dak walk and go young at QB, it would help the new QB to have a solid line and defense to protect him. Boys gonna reload on the fly but they probably gotta let the HC/QB go.

He's smoother than Drake. Reminds me of Arian Foster.

Honestly wasn't a big Brooks fan up until this season. First few years he ran too upright, didn't run behind his pads. But he was really a more complete back this year.
