Before Dak was making big money the FO STILL didn't bring in quality free agents. They had plenty of opportunity to add talent to the roster. It looks like no matter who is at QB Jerry will still sit on his hands and not make any major moves in free agency.

Just see if Dak is open to waiving that no trade clause, and consider trading CeeDee and Micah. They are likely gone once their contracts are up anyways. Other teams are likely to pay CeeDee and Micah more AND give them a better chance at winning.

Our FO has completely sapped any joy from this franchise. Historically bad playoff loss, miss out on Harbaugh, don't sign Bellichick and then we do absolutely nothing to start off free agency while San Fran and our division rivals get significantly better.
Get rid of Dak, Micah, and Ceedee :wow:

We going back to the Chad Hutchinson days :wow:

So. Cal
i never said its all on him.

It is weird though that months before the season even starts, you are putting out a disclaimer on how fans are being hypocritical due to placing all the blame on him with lack of signing free agents.

A DT, LB, Corner has 0 bearing on him scoring 7 points in the first half at home during a playoff game
And only two passing yards going into the 2nd quarter.

Cowboys have holes but the most expensive one needs to be filled first.

I love Cee Dee.. but I honestly would trade him and draft a WR 1st round assuming you get a 1 for him which Im sure you would.

I say this because he clearly doesnt like Dak and I dont blame him one bit.

now if we get rid of Dak, then fine. Keep Cee Dee

It can mean two things...I take it as they make something so simple (like NOT MOVING during the challenge) so damn difficult...

Brandon Carr did a number on this franchise. They STILL live in fear from paying buddy damn near 10 years ago. That, coupled with believing they are smarter than everybody else and making money (TONS of it) gets us where we are today.

All that said, get a vet RB (Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon etc) and draft one that can play right away, get LB help, DL/T, and another OL and I think we can still compete :yeshrug: We GOTTA be used to how this FO does business by now...there was NO CHANCE they were doing anything today. They getting started on Wed/Thur - Sun, then looking toward the draft. That $7Ms we still paying Zeke (who we could've used last year) should tell you everything you need to know bout this squad...
Don't think it was the Carr contract. Think it was the Zeke one. Paid him the most money ever for a running back right around the time teams stopped paying running backs and caring about the run game in general, only to watch his production fall off a cliff, his backup play better and literally make a pro bowl, and then have to release him in embarrassing fashion because even in the one playoff game where everybody balled out HE STILL couldn't get 1 yard when we needed it, Dak had to bootleg it in for a walk in touchdown. Oh and spent a top 5 pick to do it.

And they are smarter than everyone else making money. Cowboys print money regardless of what their actual record is. Their the Lakers and Knicks of the NFL where the brand is much bigger than the result. Why put in effort to build a good football team when the same people who show up when you 8 - 2 are going to show up when you 2 - 8?

The whole team got destroyed that playoffs. If the Packers didn't lay off, they were on pace to probably put up 60 to 70 points. That is on coaching. If the whole team played well but Dak stunk it up, then a QB change could 'fix things', but this is a culture problem and player after player that leaves keeps mentioning the difference in culture at other organizations. Dalton Schultz is another one.

Dak would’ve been out the league if it wasn’t for Dallas. He ain’t goin nowhere’s no other team is foolish enuff to keep paying for those playoff performances :francis:

No team would take a chance on a guy who has a number five offense in the nfl multiple years? Dak wouldn't have been out of the league. We just saw what golden boy Justin Herbert did with Kellen Moore. Didn't even make the play-offs.

As long as kirk cousins getting a contract, Dak will have a team interested in him.

Yea they did. Now what about last year against San Fran when the defense held a 9ers offense that was averaging 35 points per game to only 19? The offense scored 12.

If the Packers didn't lay off, they were on pace to probably put up 60 to 70 points. That is on coaching.
We have no linebackers on this team and decided to play zone because Gilmore had a hurt shoulder. The personnel was just as big of a problem as coaching

this is a culture problem and player after player that leaves keeps mentioning the difference in culture at other organizations. Dalton Schultz is another one.
Why/How is it a culture problem only when we lose? We have won 36 games the last 3 seasons. So the culture is only a problem in the playoffs? We do have a culture problem, but its not why we lose in the playoffs

Schultz saying the culture is way different in Houston compared to here is hilarious considering the “great culture” down there only led to 11 wins the last 3 seasons until they got a real QB which is exactly what we need

I agree.. but Im going by what our owner does. That dude is a Dak lover. point blank period.

knowing that, you may as well get rid of Cee Dee and get more picks. this shyt almost blew up last year. but Cee Dee started getting the ball. But we cant pay all three of these dudes.

Dak has files a lawsuit on a 100 Million extortion

What they got on you Dak? :jbhmm::yes:
Dak suit: Extortion bid over sexual assault claim

Went to school with the lawyer for the accuser.

She's pretty sharp but Dak is all about his image and rep. He's not settling unless they got something serious. Skipping the criminal trial process looks shady. Burden of proof is lower in civil cases and they probably recognize that their evidence won't rise to the level of "beyond reasonable doubt."

Issue is that sexual assault can range from groping/touching to basically rape. On top of that, at what point did she feel attacked? Did she communicate her discomfort in the moment.....was she cook with him until AFTER she realized he was just using her? Either way the Cowboys got a huge problem.

He wouldn’t be able to hold top franchises hostage in negotiations like he head done Dallas. His pedigree isn’t that solid. You can probably bring in any qb on the level of Kirk cousins and he kd probably be able to duplicate what Dak has done for this offense. He does it mostly against the worst of our schedule. And divisional opponents. We could sign baker mayfield and would see minimum drop off
