Dak is not waiving his NTC to leave Dallas. Under any circumstances.
He knows the spotlight, endorsements, name recognition, and prestige that come with being a loser here is greater than success anywhere else.

So wtf we doing in free agency? I had my eyes on some day 2-3 guys like Denzel Perryman and Raekwon Davis to help fortify the front 7 but it felt like we also needed one of those day 1 impact signings for the defense.
Why does anyone believe the cowboys will luck up on another qb that has this team looking decent and why does anyone believe the FO will put a team around this qb to win a superbowl? At most, you're going to see a Dak/Romo 2.0. Just look at how the 49ers and Eagles are actively getting better. Meanwhile, we just created several holes that we're doing to fill. Then they'll sign some bargain bin players and we're going to depend on the draft where we're picking late and are missing picks due to the Gilmore/Cooks trades.

Where would we be without him
Dak has at least made regular season someone watchable and has kept us from being the joke of our division by winning most division games. That's pretty much the ceiling for any qb coming into our organization.
Do you really think Jerry Jones and crew is going to build a great team around a rookie qb? We just let 2 linemen go, our lead runningback while the Eagles and 49ers get better. Meanwhile, we're going to use our late picks in the draft to plug in those holes in a year when we have less draft picks than usual.
