With the exception of Purdy, what round did all the remaining playoff Qb's get drafted from? Yeah you may get lucky in the later rounds but how often does that happen.

So basically, I see people always say this about the 2018 game vs the Rams that we couldn’t run and the defense gave up 200 plus yards.
The rams were not going to let the Zeke run. It is up to the quarterback you want to pay top money to perform at the top level. If the run game is being keyed on, make them pay for that or find ways to run it and have the attitude that you can't stop us.
After the scripted drive to score a touchdown, the possessions the rest of the half were punt, punt, punt. One of those being 3 and out. The stats that Sturm posted prove exactly this. Btw, we began the 2nd half with another 3 out. Then the next possession was that pass to Gallup down the sideline which was our most positive play since the first possession. Dak wasn't bad the 2nd half but he didn't play like he was some elite quarterback in that game. If I remember correctly, even after giving up all those yards on the ground, Dallas STILL had chances to come back in this game.

I been speaking on this for a few years now. End the bargain buy of QBs of the 3rd round and later. It is insane to treat the most important position of the team like a running back position. We've drafted WR's, dozens of Olineman, RB's, LB's, and DE's in the last 20 years but not one QB. It's always a risk to draft a QB in any round but most QBs that win are drafted in the first round. Tom Brady was an anomaly and it likely will never happen again.

Of course. The cowboys are a family owned business that only cares about money. Jerry doesn't care about actually winning a super bowl. He is over the moon right now. We have heard more about what the cowboys should or shouldn't do with Mike McCarthy than we have heard about ANY of the upcoming playoffs games. Just the way Jerry likes it.
If you were to give Jerry all these football reasons to get rid of Dak he going to pull out these financial statements that show the 2 home playoffs games we had in the last 3 years netted him 16 million dollars. And he going to ask you who you going to bring in to make him 16 million in playoff revenue in two years, cause that's what Dak does for him. He not even going to entertain any football stuff.
It's legit no real reason to be a fan of this team, because the Dallas Cowboys are not an organization that is serious or even cares about winning football games.
