I went to the late night San Jose show, his last in the city.

He was half drunk, dude is legitimately funny funny. I don't know how else to say it, like it's unreal how off the cuff funny he is. 5150 doesn't do it justice.

Saw Patrice twice in Pheonix shortly before he passed. He's always been my favorite comedian.

Corey felt like some different shyt. It was crazy. If he could ever structure his show, dude would be out of here.

Corey is basically Lewis Dix now, and it's funny because Lewis said Corey was going to wind up just like him back in 08. You can't really take relationship advice from Corey because his wife left him, and got him living in an apartment. Corey is funny but he's one of the most bitter comedians now.

Truth be told, bitter comedians are the funniest. Their humor comes from a genuine place of hurt and anger. A funny comedian who has a healthy social life is rare, Damn near non-existent.

Look at the greats, none of them come from stable backgrounds. And some of the so called greats right now have lost their edge because they manufacture their indignation.

I mean Corey wishing his baby mama would die is completely messed up but Damn it if I didn’t laugh for ten minutes straight. Breh wasn’t even trying to be funny.

I agree but it’s a double edged sword when you’re authentically yourself, warts and all. Corey is definitely someone I would never befriend. He’s an insecure a$$hole but it’s those same traits that makes him hilarious.

Patrice O’Neal was the same way. Gifted but self-destructive.
