Corey has talked shyt about will Smith jamie foxx and Eddie Murphy calling them gay, men who could give him a look. Even took subtle jabs at Chappelle.Who did they burn bridges with that could put them in kevins position/tier?
I mean based on @jay83 post kraig and corey aint lackin work ethic. Kraig from cali and corey been out there 20+ years so can networking really be the issue?
I havent seen much stand up from kraig but corey is def funnier than kevin but kevin is palatable to cacs
Ive seen kev roast nikkas but none of the nikkas he roasted are good roasters and kraig easily a better roaster than kev.
The dress is the tiebreaker my nikka

Stop. I give Kevin Hart credit, he worked hard to get to where he is. But that SNL skit was from 2013. Years before, he said he’d never wear a dress.
Post-dress skit, he releases “Let Me Explain” and then he truly blows up. Now am I saying he wouldn’t have gotten there without wearing the dress? Maybe.
But it’s not a coincidence after that skit, he starts becoming the lead/Co-lead in mainstream movies.
Granted this is from afar but Kevin seems more approachable and friendly. That matters in business. There is a reason you do job interviews. If it's all about education and experience I can just send you my resume and you pick who is most qualified. Ability and willingness to sell yourself is probably the most underrated part of the professional world. Even moreso in entertainment. Because after you have sold yourself to them they gotta figure out how to sell you to the masses. Kevin is a funny little guy that jokes about his family. Kraig and Corey are thick neck ass nikkas that joke about homosexuals and Vicodin. Based on their looks and public personas who do you think an exec is gonna be more comfortable taking a meeting with? What mainstream movie you putting Kraig and Corey in that is gonna get the most out of their talent?
Also gotta keep it a stack, per the Sony leaks Kevin is willing to do anything for a check. That matters too. People like easy. If I know all I gotta do is show you the money I am coming to you before the nikka thats gonna have something to say or might even say "no".
As a fan of all these kats I think the issue for the Corey's, Kraigs, Aries etc is like all of us they were sold the dream of "talent + hardwork". They see dudes with comparable or even less talent getting more looks and have a hard time accepting the game for what it is.

i would say luck and networking.....Look at Kraig Show, all of the dudes who used to be on there with him he basically beefing with like Corey. Kevin Hart also was a lead on Soul Plane at 25 and had small roles in other movies around that time.
Talent, network and “it” factor. Kraig doesn’t have the chops as an actor or “the look” to be a Kevin Hart. Kevin is also willing to c00n it up a little bit
I don’t think Kevin Hart is funny at all, but he made his bones in the NYC circuit around what are now some of the biggest comics in the world (Bill Burr, Louis CK, Chappelle). You end up in circles with producers and agents just by being in those rooms
At the end of the day, some people are just stars. They have the intangibles that make people want to see them. Kevin Hart isn’t funniest, best looking, or most talented but he took over scenes.

Kevin has gon in record saying the shift in his career was that movie he did with Matthew Mcconahay ( however you spell it ) that roll was originally made for Kate Williams and he flacked on it , he got on the good side of them people got in the right rooms and the rest is history

Kevin Hart was doing movies Paper Soldiers, Soul Plane etc.. a movie every year. Kevin was doing Opie & Anthony show with Patrice O'neal, exposing himself to CAC audience. Legendary appearances on Foxxhole Radio. While this is happening Corey was calling Jamie Foxx Gay... Eddie Murphy Gay... Tyler Perry Gay.. Beefing with his agent, Kicked off Wild'n Out. Corey does a podcast but compared to his White counterparts(Joe Rogan Comedians) they leagues ahead of him..

I said its a mix of luck and networking. The luck comes in being at the right place and at the right time to be discovered. The networking skills is them being able to maintain a professional business relationship or building one.
He ran Brandon off who was supposed to be that for him. Then he said he didn't need Brandon.
Left Brown's studio to go to Caffeine to create the "Comedy Press" which flopped, and he abandoned his YouTube audience thinking they'd go to Caffeine... They did not. Came back to YouTube, and has been very inconsistent which caused more people to stop watching.
He did need Brandon, ultimately, but his arrogance and ego got in the way.

Shout out to Nate and the Super Funny Comedy Club (terrible name btw). Apparently bro just sits on stage and roasts the crowd for 30-60 mins 
I stated this before, but Kraig show fell off because he changed studios. When human beings get attached to something, they don't want to see it changed. Also, the show was unwatchable once he started adding those weird skits and commercials in-between shows.
I can only watch podcast that have timestamps on it. I hate watching a podcast of people just talking with no structure. Lol

You know, we can have a convo about how odd it is that this scene was in a white movie/40YO Virgin, but that shyt was FUNNY. And truth be told Kevin ain’t a bad looking dude. He’s just short
He and his ex wife are both good looking which is why their kids are really attractive.
