I just watched the Zo-Aries fight for the 1st time in awhile and this dude Corey was laughing and making jokes afterwards but now he mad about that shyt

I question whether it was a legit friendship. Admittedly, I have a very high standard for friendship. I just don't think a friend does what Corey did to a friend. Zo is not innocent by any stretch but if ya'll legit friends, you handle shyt off air. I am assuming that you are not in your 60s or 70s, meaning the situation with you and your man's didn't occur when you were in your 50s. When you are a young, you fall out over petty shyt. You get to a certain level of maturity and you are calling someone your friend and certain shyt just don't happen. I don't think Corey can fight like he says. I am not suggesting he's a pushover but in my experience the nikkas that talk the hardest shyt are rarely as thorough as they say. shyt look at Aries. He was talking that cash money (taking over for the 99 and 2000) shyt all the way up until it got real and then he literally folded.

I feel where you come from with some shyt should be handled off air, but I think it's the difference between comedians and regular dudes though. Most comedians have that mindset of laughing at everything and probably don't understand that concept of not everything is meant to be laughed at and not everything is meant for an audience. I have that mindset too. I ain't a private person at all. I have no shame about anything in my life and laugh at it all and have to remind myself not everybody is that way which is where Corey fukks up. It goes back to his argument with Grady where he thought Grady was being fake for not admitting he's cheating on camera.

I definitely don't think Corey can fight. He strike me as somebody that was always able to joke his way out of situations.

Me and the ex homie were in our early to mid 30s when shyt went down. I am just under 50 yrs old, basically Zo's age.

Yeah, my situation was petty, but at the time, I felt that it was real. Me and dude never fully reconciled, so we are mainly social media acquaintances many years later. I think dude is still harboring some feelings from the past. As for me, I have been over it for well over a decade+. It just reminded me of Corey and Zo's situation.

As to your main point, I think you are right regarding the validity to their friendship. I don't think they were true homies. They were probably friendly associates at best.

I think Corey don't really relate to dudes like Zo. Zo is an intellectual with some street edge. Corey is a street raised comedian who primarily deal with people of his ilk. In many cases, people who are tied to the streets don't connect with regular civilians like that, but of course there are exceptions.

I didn't like the fact that Corey tried to make Zo look like some buster. Corey would have got his ass whooped that night, IMO, which is why he made a gesture of pulling out a gun towards Kraig when discussing what he would have done if Zo really came after him. He even said that things would go really bad when they had their argument on the other show. If Corey really felt that he could whoop Zo, then why make a pulling a gun out on someone gesture on last night's show?

Zo may have his issues as well as Corey, but who doesn't have issues? I just don't believe in underestimating any grown man whether he has street ties or not, whether he is tall or short, whether he is skinny, fit or fat. ANY man can be dangerous, if put into certain situations!

Seems like what is meant to happen happens. Like you said, they never were as close to each other as we thought.

I put it like this, he (ZO) made that 20k back putting in work contributing to the show for years.Thats the cost of doing business and that literally the most promo the show has seen! I don't get how some think dee and zo was was going against corey just because they wanted him to handle it (Grady) in a more respectable manner, trying to call him out on his relationship on air was flagrant in the first place.
