I don’t think of Corey as an alpha at all; his mannerisms and outbursts are all beta/feminine. Zo is clearly not on Corey’s level financially but he comes off as much more of a man. Zo raised his son to be a Division 1 athlete; Corey didn’t raise his son, then tried to move him into his home, got into petty arguments about clothes and shoes (like a woman) and kicked him out.

Breh did things worth more than money though. He straight up introduced him to Risa Islam among others and helped him out a lot. According to Zo and Corey agreed on this, zo gave him the people to put his prior tech teams together, in other words he introduced him to people like Frank and the behind the scenes folks. If Corey wanted that money he should have said yes. It’s unfair for him to say No and act like Zo never offered to give him something.
