That was the tipping point.

What I find a fascinating case study is that his fractured relationships with his own children and alienation from his own children had no effect on him or his mood as long as he had money and a mixed breed wife.

He got super depressed when the wife left him, then reached an all new low when Covid took the little bit of money(from poor spending habits) he had from his comedy gigs.

I know a lot of brehs who have been mentally broken or went into deep depression due to them being alienated from their kids.

It seems to me people from broken families who don't reconcile or recognize their dysfunction don't really value family... They're more depressed or angry at losing money than only seeing their son twice a year.

Also there's this book called "The Passive Aggressive Covert Narcissist" by Debbie Mirza where she talks about a narcissistic mothers/parents... One of the things that were pointed out is how a narcissistic parent will publicly brag or even claim credit about the accomplishments of their child (Corey says his daughter is a masters graduate etc ALL the time), but will IMMEDIATELY attribute any negative trait of their child on something else "he was raise by his momma" (talking about his sons behavior).

Anyway I've been following Corey Holcomb since 2007, the first 7 years was coz his comedy was the funniest shyt I'd heard since Richard Pryor, the last 5 years I've just been using him as a psycho analytic case study (along with my father and many women in my family).
