yeah he's going through it, he's 50 it's time for him to grow up. He needs to get more involved in his sons life and find him a woman with balance. He's at the age where there's no excuse for him to not get his shyt together.

He's also an upper level stand-up, he's not one if those people who saw on Comic-view and never heard of again. With his content he's never going to be Kevin Hart, or Chris Rock.
and yet he doesn't own a house...or any real assets beyond his cars and other toys and jewelry collection. He's 50 without a meaningful love life or friend group. he seems to isolate himself from genuinely good people.
living up to your potential isn't only transcending the hood. alot of brehs do that. but corey has the talent to reach greater heights but i believe he's toooo comfortable with just show money. he still want to be hollywood. but look at louis ck, in addition to stand-up he does his own show and his audience loves it. Corey in my opinion acts horribly in black jesus. He needs to be directed like in the wedding ringer. but knowing him, he won't. them cacs that have the audience and create their own shows on shoe string budgets aren't funnier or more talented than corey not even close.
He could literally do a louis c.k style show about his life i would watch that shyt every week. he can put the visual to his comedy this way and give actual jewels to a much wider audience.
and he only needs a single camera style for that.
he doesn't really invest in his own business like he should. low quality videos for damn near 8 years. while bragging about trickin off money.
if breh added all the money he brags about tricking off on dumb shyt like moist colored jackets and shoes he would have been produced his own sitcom, again i would watch all day.
i think the thing that most frustrating about breh is that he's sooo fukking talented, he's clearly an intelligent person but he seems to believe he cannot ascend to higher heights without cacs. He wouldn't even let breh comedians structure his comedy to bring it to a larger audience.

I don't know what Corey saw in Hollywood but his gay rants and constant use of "Fakkit", destroyed any chance he had of mainstream. Then on the podcast side of the game, he just severely lacking in production. When you look at all these podcasts popping up getting spotify deals and doing tours, making good money... Corey been doing this for way longer, no tours, no patreon, now he struggling because of the court case with that CAC and his divorce.
For example, the comedian Andrew Schultz is earning 5 figures per month from his patreon. He built his own studio, production team, releases his standups on youtube and got a comedy special coming with Amazon Prime.
Corey is unfulfilled potential, i'm grateful for the all the laughs, he was the GOAT on speedy comedy corner, i tuned in every Wednesday to hear him but the show fell off, just like Zo show fell off. I doubt i'll find better entertainment than Foxxhole/Speedy Comedy Corner

that dynamic needs to be there so corey isn't overtalking zo and vice-versa.
remember when it was bobby zo and corey??? that was some really good conversation because you had 3 generations of intelligent black men with differing dispositions talking about EVERYTHING. Fam i would literally pay monthyl to see that again if the production was stepped up. like him and zo should put their minds together a rent a space and build their own platform. really that whole crew should form like voltron and rent a space to produce content in. they would win sooooo big. they have the intellect and entertainment value to make it hugely profitable. You have the conscious communit y on one had which iss growing more and more and then you have the regular folks like us it would make beaucoup money with better production.

Fam, there is a little too much pocket watching in your first paragraph.
2nd I did stand up comedy for two years and met many working comedians. Everybody doesn't have the same end goal of being on sitcom or movies. Some people don't want to move to ATL or LA. Some don't want to compromise their art. Some are fine with getting 20k a weekend for 4 shows or being behind the scenes. Some just like the art of standup.
There's too many variables to be telling Corey what to do. Trust, Corey was willing to do a show in Raleigh at my homies spot at a discount rate of 20k. Now imagine what he gets from the clubs that bring him here.
