It's really not that big of a lead. Marvel had almost 50% of the market this time last year

Yea. A number of us pointed this out 2 months ago: All DC essentially did was what Marvel did a year ago with ANAD (and what both companies have done before that): a soft reboot/relaunch with a buncha #1 issues staggered over the course of a few months hyping a "brand new start" to the everything.

They get props for it being a massive marketing success and the timeliness of it, following the DCEU films and comic-con hype. But I think this will become a true eye catcher if it continues on thru Jan/Feb once we're past all the newness and initial story arcs.
