I just got done reading Captain America: Sam Wilson 1-10.
I like the somewhat political angle that's they're doing, but wish they would dive further into it. Every time they start to go somewhere interesting, they do some silly shyt like turn Sam into a werewolf or have Misty act like the stereotypical sassy black woman.
To it it feels like they're showing Steve Rogers was fighting for what America aspires to be, and Sam is fighting against what America has become. And Steve not accepting the shield after he got his youth back was kinda like Steve silently saying that America is broken and Sam is fighting the fight that needs to be fought. That's a cool direction, I just wish they would go all in with it.

I thought the issue was straight. But the series itself is doing nothing to earn its casualties count. ESPECIALLY not the casualties it has so far.
