On the non-Marvel/DC superhero front:
The Walking Dead #147 was OK solely for that conversation between Rick and Michonne but this book still has this bad problem of taking 12 issues to tell a story that could have been told in 4.
Strange Fruit #2 seemed to bring the story to a screeching halt when I was expecting business to pick up based off of how issue #1 went. The painted art is still great looking though.
Twilight Children #1 was good. I am curious as to where Gilbert Hernandez and Darwyn Cooke are taking this story with these alien light balls blinding small children but I am willing to go along for the ride.
Sex Criminals #13 was good with a different take on things by showing how an asexual person is able to go into the orgasm zone.
Chewbacca #1 was OK, I am hoping the sidekick character becomes less annoying with the next issue though.
I absolutely loved I Hate Fairyland #1...its the story of a little girl whooshed away for an adventure in Fairyland that was supposed to take one day but she ends up stuck there for 20something years in her little girl body and makes her go a bit violently unhinged. Funny stuff and the Skottie Young art perfect for the book.
