Y THE LAST MAN BOOK TWO was a lot better than book one. It was a lot funnier and i liked yorick a lot more after the dominatrix story.

Female Furies is the comic book equivalent of that Boomerang TV show on BET.

Just like how this book uses the New Gods to tell a poorly veiled commentary on the #metoo moment, Boomerang uses the movie to tell a poorly veiled commentary on toxic black male masculinity.

Female Furies got Darkseid outchea acting like Harvey Weinstein.

Boomerang has every black male character being gay, or bi, or having a gay experience, or questioning their sexuality, or wanting to do shyt like getting pegged or getting their a$$hole ate.

It's loosely based on the film. The main character is Robin Givens' character's son.

It's really just a generic show about an HBCU. They could have called it 'Spellman College' or 'Hayward University' and nothing would change.

I'd like it to be X-Men just because I'm a fan, but if it's not, I still don't care. Hopefully they let him have the reigns for the next few years of major Marvel storyline direction. His last run proved he's good for it.
